PILOT QUESTIONS

Know what to expect.

Who is the pilot for?

Tax practitioners willing to test de-identified scenarios, independently check authority and provide constructive feedback. The target is an invitation-only group of 25–50 practitioners selected after application review.

Does applying create an account?

No. Verify your email, then wait for review. If selected, you receive a single-use password-setup invitation. Your sign-in email is the address used on your application.

Do I need a ChatGPT account?

No. Approved users sign in directly to Navigator. Research is processed through the site's configured API account.

What does access cost?

Pilot access terms and any charges will be communicated before participation. No subscription checkout is active in this release. Recorded API estimates are usage information, not an invoice.

Can I upload a client's full tax return?

Supply only relevant, necessary excerpts after removing all client identifiers. Do not upload CE courses, newsletters or copyrighted publisher material. A redaction checkbox does not verify the document.

Is the answer ready to use on a return?

Every result is a draft. Verify the facts, governing sources, dates, jurisdiction, calculations and limits before relying on it.

How does this relate to 1040.guru?

Navigator is the research component of the broader practitioner-first planning platform. This pilot tests that component; it does not mean every planned module or integration is available.

What if my link expires?

Use Access help to request a new verification or invitation link. Active pilot users can request password recovery there.
