THE RESEARCH WORKFLOW

From a question to a reviewable record.

A conversation built around the facts and the decision you need to make.

01

Describe the issue

Choose a meaningful title, tax year or transaction date, and relevant jurisdiction. State the taxpayer or entity type, key facts, amounts, dates and objective. Start with an editable example if helpful.

02

Resolve the important unknowns

When an indispensable fact is missing, Navigator can ask a focused clarification. If a useful comparison is possible, it should explain conditional branches. An unknown stays an unknown; it should never become an assumed favorable fact.

03

Review the research

Check the refined question, conclusion, cited authorities, tax year, jurisdiction, counterarguments and limitations. The current release uses official-source web research; the wider governed corpus is still being developed.

04

Continue and save

Add facts or ask a substantive follow-up in the saved conversation. Save a complete PDF for your file, or download editable text. Each research request contributes to recorded estimated usage.

Come with a question you know well.

The best pilot feedback compares the output with an issue you can independently evaluate.
